Wow! I cannot believe it's been 7 months since my last post! My family and my kinders have kept me so busy this school year. Nevertheless, I had an amazing year and my little ones learned so much!
I also could not believe how much my classroom has evolved over the course of the year. Check these out:
As you can see, we have been working hard! Now everything's packed away for summer and I'll do it all over again next year!
Our favorite project this year was our letter of the week creations, which we did every Friday until we got to the end of the alphabet.
The students LOVED making these and they turned out so precious! At the end of the year my assistant made them into books for each child and they took them home as a keepsake. I got this amazing idea from Totally Tots. I scaled mine down a bit so I could use our school's die cuts to make the letters.
I'm so excited about the Christmas season! We will begin our gingerbread unit this week--fun! I wanted to share a cute activity that's easy and gives you a chance to recycle those water bottle lids you've been saving! Simply print, laminate, and gather 26 water bottle lids. Write upper case letters on the lids and have students match the uppercase to the lowercase letters. This creates a path for the gingerbread family to find their way home! Click here to get it!

Don't forget this important teaching opportunity! September 17th-21st is Constitution Week!
