Peppermint Cutie

Here's my latest ornament endeavor:

The front is made from felt and is stitched together with white embroidery floss.  I then glued the felt piece to a Pringle's lid, covered it with cellophane, and tied the ends with ribbon.

This could easily be made by students using construction paper or cardstock and a white pencil.  They could be as large or small as you'd like.
